The Friendly Wolf

The Friendly Wolf

Wolves have snapped up City left back George Friend in a deadline day swoop.

Friend`s obvious qualities as a footballer and as an athlete were always going to make him hard to hang on to, and, having started this season brightly, the move seemed inevitable.

The transfer fee is, for the moment, undisclosed. But since City are a club owned and run by the fans, it will surely only be a matter of time before we`re filled in on the details.

In the meantime, all the best to George in the Midlands.
