Paul Tisdale was delighted to see Exeter get back to winning ways, as his side responded well to a 6-1 hammering a few days earlier with a 2-0 victory over Chester on Saturday.
The Exeter manager thought his side reacted well to the defeat and ground out a result after a professional display: 'It wasn't particularly easy on the eye, but it was job done,' Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon. 'We're absolutely exhausted and relieved after a long four days. It was a gritty, professional performance.'
How important do you think it was it for Exeter, having gone seven unbeaten previously, to respond to their defeat with this win?
