Curzon Ashton 3-2 Exeter
Exeter were stunned by UniBond First Division North outfit Curzon Ashton on Saturday as they dumped them out of the FA Cup in the 1st round on Saturday, winning 3-2.
Curzon took the lead midway through the first half through Chris Worsley (26), via the aid of a deflection. James Ogoo (56) extended the home sides lead early in the second half and with just over 10 minutes to play a breakaway goal from Michael Norton (79) looked to have killed the tie. Steve Basham (84) gave Exeter hope before Matt Gill was sent-off in the last minute. Dean Moxey (90) did score another for the visitors but it was nothing more than a consolation.
Do you think that the result was a fair reflection of the match? And also, how disappointed are you at Exeter's FA Cup exit?
