Exeter Masters Of Their Own Destiny

Exeter will be the masters of their own destiny this Saturday, and Paul Tisdale is happy about this following the 2-2 draw with Morecambe last Saturday.

The Exeter manager was pleased with the performance in the draw with Morecambe as he knows this gives his side a good chance of automatic promotion into League One: 'I thought it was a very good game of football against very good opposition. It was a good performance and it gives us a good chance for next week,' Tisdale told the media. 'I thought we responded well to their first goal and it was hard for us to have any sustained pressure in their half because there was a stiff breeze. I was happy to get in at 1-0 half-time, regroup and we had a go second half, especially in the first 15-20 minutes when we got our two goals.

'I told the players to relax at half-time and that if we kept at it, things would happen for us and they did, although I am disappointed to have conceded a goal with 10 minutes to go.'

Exeter go to Rotherham this Saturday knowing that a victory will guarantee them automatic promotion into League One just a year after gaining promotion into League Two from the Blue Square Premier Division.

Do you think that Exeter can achieve automatic promotion?

By the sounds of it, your fans will outnumber ours at Don Valley on Saturday... btw, bring a coat, no matter how warm it looks!
