Exeter Get Swindon Home Tie In Trophy

Exeter City have been handed a home tie with Swindon Town in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. The game will take place during the week commencing 5th October.

The two teams have been placed in the South West section of the competition, and this will be both team's first match in this years competition after recieving byes into the second round. The match also means the two teams will meet twice in a week at St. James Park, with a League 1 game on Tuesday 29th September.

The last meeting between the teams was in this very competition, with Swindon coming away from Exeter with a 2-1 victory in November 2004.
