Tully: home form crucial

Exeter City right back Steve Tully has underlined the importance of his side`s home form in being a success in League 1 this season.

The Grecians have lost only one of seven league games at St. James Park this season, and fans favourite Tully makes no bones about the importance of City`s home form "We have got to make St. James Park at fortress and make people hate coming down here to play us" he told the official site. Tully believes that such is the closeness of the league table, a few wins can make all the difference in City`s league position. "If we go on a good run we can be in the top eight. That is how close this league is" Tully remarked.

Since Paul Tisdale`s arrival as manager in the summer of 2006, the Grecians have made St. James Park a tough place to come for visiting teams, and not many have left Exeter with three points.
