I doubt many Exeter City fans will have realised how good their side`s home form has been since Paul Tisdale has been in charge.
Since Tisdale took charge in the summer of 2006, his Exeter side have only lost 9 out of 76 league games at St. James Park. That equates to less than 12% of matches. City have drawn almost 35% of matches in the period, and won over 55%.
The amount of matches lost was half that of the three seasons before Tisdale took charge, when 16 out of 63 matches were lost at home, equating to over 25% of matches. Between 2003 and 2006 in the Conference, City won 50% of home matches. Therefore, from these stats, many of the defeats have been turned into draws under Tisdale, and that is testament to his side`s fighting spirit. This has been evident on more than one occasion this season, with late equalisers in the home games with Norwich, Swindon and Wycombe securing draws.
Exeter City's home form under Paul Tisdale:
2009/10: Won 2
Drawn 4
Lost 1
2008:09: Won 13
Drawn 5
Lost 5
2007/08: Won 13
Drawn 9
Lost 1
2006/07: Won 14
Drawn 7
Lost 2
