Perryman: Exeter will be alright

Exeter City Director of Football Steve Perryman believes unity will see the Grecians clear of relegation from League 1 this season.

The Tottenham Hotspur legend told the Exeter Express and Echo that the team spirit was excellent. Furthermore, he said that the whole club was pulling together in the same direction. "We have a good manager, a committed captain and leadership in the boardroom".

Perryman first came to St. James Park early this decade to assist Noel Blake in City`s ultimately success bid to beat relegation from League 2. The former Brentford manager has since returned to Devon, and contrary to the recent furore over the relationship between manager and Director of Football in English Football, the relationship between Perryman and City boss Paul Tisdale appears to be a good one.
