It's been a difficult time for Exeter recently following the tragic death of Adam Stansfield, although he was done proud during a 2-2 home draw with Bristol Rovers on Saturday afternoon.
Paul Tisdale, as he told BBC Radio Devon, knew it was a day of mixed emotions but feels Stansfield was given a fitting send off: 'It was a dreadful day because of what's happened in the last 10 days.
'But it was also a wonderful day in terms of the response and the acknowledgement of the football club in support of Adam [Stansfield] and his family.'
As for the match he felt it has everything, which made it more of a day to be proud of: 'It was an entertaining day with a brilliant game of football, with goals, mistakes and incident, and all in all it was a day to be very proud of.'
