Long trip awaits City in cup

The FA Cup 1st round draw sees City facing a long trip to League Two high fliers Bury.

They are familiar opponents for The Grecians in this competition, the sides met just three years ago at the second round stage where Nicky Adam's goal was enough to give Bury a 1-0 success.

City Striker Daniel Nardiello had a loan spell last season with Bury so he may be able to provide his manager with a little insight into how the opposition will approach the game.

Paul Tisdale told thisisexeter.co.uk: 'Daniel was there last season so we will know one or two things about Bury as a team.

'Initially we know they are a good side anyway. You can only call it a good draw if you win it.'
