City back in JPT action

Exeter City travel to Bristol Rovers tomorrow night as the two clubs make a third attempt to play their Johnstone`s Paint Trophy southern section semi-final.

A frozen pitch has accounted for the first two attempts to get the game on. But after some warmer temperatures Bristol Rovers` Memorial Ground pitch should be in a playable condition.

City will be looking to bounce back from Saturday`s defeat to rivals Plymouth Argyle.

Illness kept Steve Tully and Ryan Harley out of Saturday`s starting line-up and both are doubts for this game. Richard Logan is also struggling to be fit, the striker has a gashed leg.

Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope may choose to make changes following his sides 6-2 thrashing at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday, a defeat that saw Rovers drop into League One`s relegation zone.

The teams are playing for a place in the southern section final, where either Brentford or Charlton await them.
