Golbourne hungry for more goals

Amongst the five goal rout of Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend Scott Golbourne bagged his first goal for the Grecians.

Golbourne reacted quickly to a loose ball in the penalty area to smash the ball past Nicky Weaver. After failing to find the net in over a year since signing for City Golbourne is hungry for further strikes.

Speaking to exetercityfc.co.uk Golbourne said: 'The gaffer told me he'd like three to five goals for me a season really from my position. So happy to get off the mark but hopefully they'll be more to come.'

Golbourne also praised the effort by the club to get the fixture to go ahead.

'It was unbelievable and a great reflection on the club as a whole really,'

'It is a different sort of club here and it shows how important the club is to them.

'Everybody chipped in and we were so grateful to get the game on.

'We were really grateful and we rewarded them with a good performance.'
