City seeking home improvement

Tranmere Rover are the visitors to St James` Park this Tuesday with both sides looking to recover from disappointing home defeats at the weekend.

Rovers slumped to a 1-0 deafeat against struggling Yeovil whilst City lost their fourth straight home league game, going down 2-1 against Hartlepool.

Richard Duffy is a doubt for the game after coming off with a head injury on Satuday.

If Duffy doesn`t recover then Troy Archiblad-Henville could replace him if he himself is fit. Paul Tisdale will also have to decide whether to bring back veteran Rob Edwards or to stick with Billy Jones in City`s leaky defence.

Tranmere have selection dilemmas of their own. Zoumana Bakayogo is a doubt with a foot injury.

Injuries have ruled out Dale Jennings, Marlon Broomes, Alan Mahon and Ryan Fraughan whilst Joss Labadie is suspended.

his is the first time that these sides have met this season.

The Grecians are currently 15th in the League One table whilst Tranmere sit three places below in 18th.
