An Exeter City XI will take on a Yeovil Town XI on May 2nd in Adam Stansfield`s testimonial match.

The teams will be made up of former team mates of Adam and some current first team players, subject to availability. The match falls between City`s final two games of the season, two days after Plymouth Argyle visit the Park.

Premier League referee Mark Halsey will officiate the game that will see some cameo appearances from special guests.

The game has been arranged by a testimonial committee headed by Andy Cole and he told exetercityfc.co.uk

'We would like to thank all at Exeter City Football Club for hosting this very special testimonial. The proceeds from the game will go to the Adam Stansfield Family Fund and I know that this will be a very special but emotional day.'

This week saw Exeter City reserves draw 2-2 at Forest Green Rovers thanks to a brace from young striker James Norwood. The match also saw trialists Kallum Keane and Devann Yao handed starts for the Grecians.
