City looking to return to winning ways

Exeter City travel to Colchester this weekend for an early 1pm Kick-off.

The early start time is due to the 3pm scheduling of the Wales V England game.

Both sides sit comfortably in mid table. A recent erratic run of form has ended any hopes either side harboured of making the play-offs.

City are looking to bounce back from last weekends disappointing 3-2 defeat at home to west country neighbours Yeovil.

Paul Tisdale should have a fully fit squad to select from. Steve Tully has resumed training this week and could be fit to take his place in the side.

In-form striker Jamie Cureton is looking to score for the fourth consecutive game after recent strikes against Bournemouth, Rochdale and Yeovil.

Colchester have no new injury worries ahead of the game.

On-loan defender Tommy Smith is unavailable for selection due to his international commitments with New Zealand so Matt Heath could deputise in defence.

When the sides last met it was back on the opening day of the season. A Ryan Harley penalty gave City an early lead before Colchester struck twice in two minutes to take the lead, but Richard Logan netted late on to earn the Grecians a share of the points.
