'If It's Football, It's Vital'

City imporve on last season's points total

Tuesday nights victory over Swindon saw City take their season`s points tally to 52, surpassing last years total in the process.

With seven games still to play Paul Tisdale can be proud that he has moulded an improved squad from last season.

The 2009/10 season was a big learning curve for a side that still contained many players that joined the team when it plied its trade in non-league football.

City`s form away from home has been a particular highlight. In all competitions 10 victories have been amassed on the road already, compared to last season`s haul of just three. In fact if it wasn`t for some sloppy uncharacteristic defeats to substandard sides at home City could have been looking at a play-off push.
