Tully dissapointed at red cards

Defenders Steve Tully and Scott Golbourne are set to return to the City starting line-up this weekend after the pair served a one-match ban on Tuesday for their red cards at Colchester.

Tully disagreed with both of the dismissals that lead to City being on the wrong end of a 5-1 thumping.

Tully told thisisexeter.co.uk:

I definitely got a toe on the ball, but the ref said it was definitely a foul.

'He didn't speak to me, he didn't even ask me if I touched it and he didn't look at me when he sent me off.

Tully is a crucial part of Paul Tisdale`s side, the defender has captained the team on several occasions this season when regular skipper Matt Taylor has been absent.

On Tuesday Richard Duffy played in Tully`s right back spot in a tactical reshuffle.

Despite the Grecians lining-up without Golbourne or Tully City on Tuesday they still managed claim a 1-0 success over Swindon. Even though City kept a clean sheet it is expected that both defenders will return to the side on Saturday when City take on Dagenham & Redbridge.
