Keeper Wood joins Grecians
Exeter City have announced the loan signing of goalkeeper James Wood from Manchester City.
The 19-year-old stopper has been on trial with City for several weeks and played in reserve team victory of Plymouth Argyle recently.
Wood will enhance the Grecians goalkeeper options when Ben Hamer returns to Reading before the end of the season.
Manchester City signed Wood back in 2006 from Cardiff City and he`s been a regular in their academy sides since.
The goalkeeper position has been somewhat of a hot potato this season at St James` Park with Paul Jones and Artur Krysiak both enjoying spells in the first team before Hamer took the position, joining on loan from Reading in January.
