Pre-season tour to Norway announced

Exeter City have announced plans for a pre-season tour to Norway in July

No fixtures have been confirmed of yet but it is expected that there will be three fixtures between Thursday 14th - Monday 18th of July. The Grecians will head out to Bergen which the second largest city in Norway situated in the South West of the country. It is also home to Norwegian football giants FC Brann.

In recent years City`s pre-season has been largely made up of games against local sides so playing abroad will be a new experience for fans and players alike.

City`s Vice Chairman Julian Tagg told exetercityfc.co.uk:

'Norway is a country that has never been far from Exeter City's thoughts with the Norwegian Grecians regularly making the trip over to Devon and badgering us to return the favour.'

'It's great that we've been able to arrange this pre-season tour for this summer and we can't wait to make the journey. Some of the finer details are still to be confirmed but we are respectful of our fans and their need for planning time, so in order to give as many as possible the chance to make the trip we have decided to make this announcement now with plenty more information coming soon.'
