The latest games in the football league season have been and gone, the midweek npower league one games are rounded-up in this article.
Brentford 1-1 Colchester
10-man Colchester fought back to secure an injury-time point against Brentford at Griffin Park on Tuesday night.
A goalless 1st half saw the hosts take the lead through Donaldson (56) and when substitute O'Toole (81) was sent off for the visitors there looked to be no way back...
That was not the case though as Wordsworth (90+1) stuck in injury-time to secure The U's a 1-1 draw.
Chesterfield 1-0 Bury
A solitary goal from Clarke (66) in the 2nd half was enough to secure Chesterfield a 1-0 home win over Bury.
Exeter 1-1 Notts County
Exeter had to settle for a point at St James Park against Notts County.
An own goal from Sheehan (8) put Exeter ahead although Notts County were soon level through Burgess (16). These were the only goals of the game with it ending in a 1-1 draw.
Leyton Orient 1-3 Bournemouth
Struggling Bournemouth picked up an impressive win at Leyton Orient on Tuesday night.
A penalty from Arter (20) was soon cancelled out by an own goal from Baudry (23) to bring Orient level, who were then reduced to 10-men shortly after half time when Cuthbert (55) was sent off.
The Cherries made the most of their advantage with goals from Thomas (74) and Pugh (81) giving them a 3-1 win.
Rochdale 1-0 Scunthorpe
There was only one goal on the night, with this from Kennedy (59). That goal was enough to secure Rochdale a 1-0 home win over Scunthorpe.
Sheffield United 0-3 Huddersfield
Huddersfield stunned Sheffield United at Bramall Lane with an impressive away win.
1st half goals from Novak (20 & 37) and Gobern (40) secured The Terriers a 3-0 win.
Stevenage 5-1 Sheffield Wednesday
Stevenage recorded an amazing 5-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.
Reid (6), Mousinho (10), Bostwick (17) and Wilson (38) had Stevenage in complete control before the break - midway through the 2nd half Charles (67) added the 5th with Madine (74) scoring a late consolation.
Wednesday's misery was compounded with Johnson (87) sent off late on.
Tranmere 1-2 Carlisle
Home advantage was not enough for Tranmere as they slipped to defeat against Carlisle at Prenton Park.
1st half goals from Miller (3) and Berrett (35), from the penalty spot left the visitors in control. Tranmere pulled one back through Akins (51) but Carlisle held on for a 2-1 win.
Walsall 0-1 Oldham
A 1st half goal from Taylor (29) was enough to secure Oldham a 1-0 away win at Walsall.
Yeovil 1-0 Wycombe
Upson's (8) goal after less than 10-minutes play in the 1st half was all that was needed for Yeovil to pick up a 1-0 home win over Wycombe.
