Young talent swaps Exeter for Man Utd
When Manchester United come calling it would be tough for anyone to refuse them wouldn't it?
With that in mind few would be surprised, even if they are slightly disappointed, that Exeter youngster Sean Goss has been unable to resist the lure of a crack at making a breakthrough at Old Trafford.
The 16-year-old midfielder, who has been with The Grecians since he was 8-years-old, has joined United's academy after impressing them during a trial spell earlier in the year.
Exeter have been compensated a fee to the tune of about £100,000, an amount that will make a big difference to the club, with more potentially following in the future.
