Duffy leaves for Port Vale

Richard Duffy's spell with Exeter has come to an end with the Welshman opting not to extend his Grecians stay in favour of a move to league two rivals Port Vale.

The former Welsh international has turned down the new contract on offer to leave for a two-year deal offered by The Valiants.

Duffy's had a good time with Exeter, and even though it's a shame that a little more loyalty hasn't been shown by him after that shown by the club towards him over the years when others hadn't, if he didn't want to be at St James Park any longer it's best that someone that did is.
