'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tisdale Pleased With Performance

Paul Tisdale was pleased with how we stood up for ourselves against Aldershot.

Speaking to the Official Site after the game, the boss talked about the conditions on the day and joked that Danny Coles needs to win a toss sooner or later after we battled against the sun.

'I was really pleased with them at halftime. We played against a ridiculously difficult sun in the first half. They stood up, they weren't pushed around, they defended the box extremely well again. We picked it up in the second half and became slightly more attacking. I'd have liked to have won the game, but we defended extremely well, and we've only conceded one goal from open play since the turn of the year, which is a good sign.'
