AGM Update

In the chairman's opening remarks he talked about the disappointment of relegation and the importance of establishing a realistic working capital fund to help with our aim of making a swift return to League 1, stating that the structure of the club was steadily working towards that aim - thanking staff and volunteers for their effort on that score.
The chairman finished his statement by restating his support for the model of Trust ownership.
In the discussion after the formal meeting closed, the board confirmed it would continue to work towards the long term aim of taking the freehold on the ground instead of leasing it from the Council, and this will be something looked at as an when it was financially prudent to take matters further.
