Gow - Maintain Away Form

Gow - Maintain Away Form

Alan Gow has confirmed that our away form has been better than our home form this season, and he wants us to continue that whilst we look to pick up better results at home.

Speaking to the Exeter Express & Echo Gow admitted that our last few matches had not been good enough, and our home form as been lacking, and he thinks it's down to the system we use when away from home.

'I think it's the way we have played and the system that we've had. When you are away, teams have to come out against you. They are under pressure to attack and you tend to get more space.'

He adds that at home with teams sitting back waiting for us to make the running, we are making the wrong decisions and losing the ball too easily, because he thinks we have a tendency to over play in the hope of making something happen.

Gow also confirmed that he'd heard about interest in the January window, but he 'loves it here' and he didn't have any thoughts about leaving.
