'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tisdale Names The Team Man Of The Match

Paul Tisdale has waxed lyrical about the overall team performance in the game against Morecambe, and he said he believed they were all men of the match.

Speaking to the Official Site Tisdale praised the manner of our goals.

'You don't see many better passes than the one Doherty gave, it was a slide ball and he won't need many chances (Cureton). It was a great pass, and a really good finish. The second goal was a very good example of how to take a free kick, and then the third was a real team composure in the last third.'

Tisdale was offered Doherty's name as a potential man of the match winner, and whilst continuing to be complimentary about his performance, he didn't feel he could take it away from any of the team on the day.

'The man of the match today would certainly be the team.'

Tisdale ended the interview by again praising the new record we set of 10 away victories, but by reminding everyone the where we finish in the league is of far more importance in the long term.
