A Good Performance - Tisdale

Paul Tisdale was happy with the performance of the team in tonight's goalless draw against Gillingham.

Speaking to the Official Site following the game Paul Tisdale said of the game and our ninth clean sheet since the turn of the year.

'It was a very good performance, we gave it a really good go, and I think we shaded the game. It was a good game of football. We've kept a clean sheet, we've taken the league leaders right to the end and I think we've played pretty well and given it a real go.'

Tisdale also points to another player being carried off and the squad being stretched, yet they held it together and came out with a very creditable result, and a point certainly does us favours in keeping the gap over Fleetwood.

'I have to say I'm finding it hard to find any criticisms of the players today.'

Tisdale also confirmed that Matt Oakley left the field of play with a dislocated shoulder after he landed arkwardly after hurdling a challenge by Steven Gregory.

Hopefully it's a simple dislocation and nothing more serious than that.
