Reid Delighted With League Bow

Jamie Reid has said he was surprised and delighted to be handed his debut start against Wimbledon, and I guess the brace in the match didn't do him any harm either.

Speaking to the Official Site he beamed.

'I found out literally at about half past one! I had no idea, even the night before I thought I was probably going to be spare man. When I heard I was starting I was happy and buzzing and couldn't wait to get out on the pitch.'

Reid says Tisdale probably did him a favour by not letting him know the night before as he would've probably over thought things and been too nervous to put in a performance like that.

As for his goals he says he didn't hit the first one well at all but that was his favourite of the game as he was getting a fair bit of stick from their fans at the point, and that put paid to that.
