Coles On Season Opener

Coles On Season Opener

Captain Danny Coles has said he's looking forward to facing his former club Bristol Rovers on the opening weekend of the league season.

Speaking to the Official Site Coles explained that he feels his former employers will be amongst the challengers in this league next season and he feels it'll be a good test for Exeter as we look to compete minus a number of our former star names.

'It's always great to play against your former team and it'll be a really good game for us to start the season. Rovers will be one of the contenders and pushing for promotion, so to play against them is a good way to start. We'll be looing to get the three points and go from there. It'll be a good test for us, they beat us twice last season and didn't deserve to, so we'll be trying to put that right.''
