Nichols Stays For 2013-14

Paul Tisdale has confirmed that Tom Nichols will be at the club for the coming season.

The youngster started three games last season, as well as making a number of substitute appearances, whilst also gaining further experience in three loan spells.

Speaking to the Official Site Tisdale said he is looking for good things from the player as he really finds his feet as a professional, but he knows it will take time for him to reach the potential he expects from him.

'Tom is a young player who was in the mix at the end of last year. He's only 19, and he has a terrific intro, but like young players he will be up and down in form. We believe he's a player we should perserve with because he's got real talent. We back young players.'
