Bergqvist Goes Out For Experience

Bergqvist Goes Out For Experience

New signing Doug Bergqvist has been loaned to Welling to improve his first team experience.

The 20 year old defender will initially remain with last seasons' Conference South champions until January.

Speaking to the Official Site Paul Tisdale said of the move.

'We've known about Dougie for a while, and we've seen him a number of times and he's a very good young player. To be able to tie it in with a loan to Welling until January means that we've been able to bring another good young player into the ranks with potential. It seems a sensible thing to do, it gives us an opportunity for him to join us in January, whilst playing some Conference football along the way.'
