Parkin Gives First Interview Since Signing

New signing Sam Parkin has said he's delighted to return to England and that he's looking forward to being a big part of Exeter's campaign this coming term.

Speaking to the Official Site the 32 year old said of his move.

'Exeter were looking to bring in a front player, and fortunately after having a meeting with the manager and a really good chat, I've been down to have a look at the place and I'm really delighted to have signed.'

Parkin goes on to say that he knows Exeter have a tradition of playing good football, so it was a no brainer for him once he knew it was an option.

His debut for the club will likely be against QPR and he explains that in former years, he never did too badly against them so he's hoping to turn back the clock and help us to a strong performance.

'In years gone by, I always used to do a bit well against QPR! Obviously though they're at a very good place at the moment in terms of their playing squad. It's always enjoyable when you play against your boyhood heroes.'
