Oakley Signs New Deal

Oakley Signs New Deal

Midfielder Matt Oakley has signed another 12 month extension at the club, keeping him with us until next summer.

The very experienced 36 year old, turns 37 in the second week of the season and since joining us back in 2011 from Leicester City, he has gone on to make 68 appearances for the club.

Last season he was unfortunately sidelined for over four months after picking up an ankle injury in the game against Plymouth Argyle, but having returned in February he went on to play his part in our end to the campaign, and he'll be hoping to play a much larger role this time round and help push us up to the right end of the table in 2014-15.
