Taylor In Team Of The Week (18/9/17)

Taylor In Team Of The Week (18/9/17)

Exeter City are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Jake Taylor in the three nil victory over Crewe Alexandra at the weekend at St James Park was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Taylor was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Following the aforementioned result, Exeter are now one of just two clubs in the EFL to maintain an undefeated start to the season. Taylor looked to have a goal and an assist in the 3-0 win over Crewe Alexandra but, after debating matters with the club`s social media team, he`s managed to replace that assist with another strike for the table-toppers.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Taylor for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Tomas Holy (Gillingham), Matt Kilgallon (Bradford City), David Mirfin (Mansfield Town), Christoph Zimmermann (Norwich City), Albert Adomah (Aston Villa), Kevin Dawson (Cheltenham Town), Jed Wallace (Millwall), Jake Taylor (Exeter City), Gboly Ariyibi (MK Dons), Luke Norris (Swindon Town), Jamal Lowe (Portsmouth).

Manager - Lee Johnson (Bristol City).
