Exeter City will look to bounce back from their heartbreaking defeat at MK Dons at the weekend, when they make the trip to Westcountry rivals Bristol Rovers.
City fans will hope they see a good reaction from their team at the Memorial Stadium. And there is no reason why the Grecians can`t pick up a positive result, such has been the positivism of recent weeks before Saturday`s collapse.
Bristol Rovers made a flying start to the season before a long run of successive defeats. They currently lie in eighth position, and one point of the final play-off spot.
Rovers have had over a week to prepare for this game, and manager Paul Trollope has all his centre backs fit. He has the luxury of a fully fit squad to choose from, apart from Aaron Lescott, who is close to a return.
Has the ability to cause problems for the City backiline.
Exeter City manager may opt for the same starting line-up as the two previous away games in the league. That would mean Steve Tully would replace Richard Duffy at right back after suspension.
The midfield supremo!
The overall record between the two teams is close with 25 victories for City, United just behind with 24. There have been 18 draws.

There isn`t much to choose between the two sides going by our past meetings. In the league, City have 18 victories, just ahead of County who have 17. However, the only cup meeting between the sides resulted in a victory for County. Coincidentally this was also the last meeting between the two sides:

Lee Philips brought City level on the stoke of half time at St. James Park, after Tes Bramble had given Counthy the lead. However, Adam Proudlock scored a late winner to book County a place in round 2
