Oldham Athletic vs. Exeter City

Boundary Park

12/12/09

3pm

PREVIEW: Oldham Athletic v Exeter City

Exeter City will look to get back on the right track at Boundary Park where they face Oldham Athletic.

The Grecians have lost their last three game following a previous six math unbeaten run. But the hugely disappointing 4-3 defeat at MK Dons was followed by 1-0 reverses at Bristol Rovers and at home to Brighton. Paul Tisdale`s team are now only two points clear of the League 1 relegation zone, but we`ll have a better idea of City`s 'real` position by the end of the Christmas break.

City`s opponents Oldham have one point less, and sit just one point and place above the relegation zone. However, they will surely have a big crowd roaring them on, with tickets prices being slashed to just £2 for adults.

Oldham Athletic Team News:

Defender Reuben Hazell and midfielder Chris Taylor will miss out with calf and hamstring injuries respectively. They join long terms absentee Andy Holdsworth on the treatment table.

However, Athletic will welcome back on-loan Blackburn midfielder from suspension.

Player to watch: Sean Gregan

The experienced centre half leads by example.

Exeter City Team News:

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale has no fresh injury concerns. Goalkeeper Paul Jones is probably not quite ready to reclaim his place between the sticks. Apart from that, it remains to be seen whether Tisdale will tinker with a team who he felt have played well in recent games without the desired results.

Player to watch: Ryan Harley

If Harley is on form he can mastermind a City victory.
